Your comfort and safety are our priority at Oriel Hotel

We would like to reassure you that we have taken all the necessary steps to protect both you and our colleagues, so we can deliver a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.

 

Here we outline the key measures we have put in place throughout your time with us. We simply ask that you stay mindful of these important measures during your stay and if you have any specific questions, our staff will be happy to assist.

FACE COVERINGS

  • Face coverings are not mandatory but are encouraged

  • CHECK-IN AND OUT

  • Key cards sanitised prior to issue

  • Hand sanitiser is available in all main hotel areas and enhanced public area cleaning is in place

  • Visual guides and directional signage to help you maintain social distancing

  • All employees will wear the necessary personal protective equipment at all times relevant to their task and in line with UK Hospitality guidelines

  • All employees will have their temperature checked daily before they enter the premises

 

 PUBLIC AREAS

  • Robust and heightened cleaning procedure in place for all public areas, and you’ll find sanitising stations available in key areas throughout the hotel

  • All our colleagues are fully trained in our new key safety measures, and will wear the necessary personal protective equipment at all times relevant to their task and in line with UK Hospitality guidelines 

  • Regular deep cleaning and sanitising of public area toilets (we encourage guests to use their bedroom facilities)

  • Regular sanitising of all public areas

  • Back of house areas will have the same levels of cleaning and sanitising as our public areas

 

BEDROOMS

  • Hugely enhanced bedroom cleaning focusing on sanitisation with viricidal disinfectant

  • We have reduced the number of rooms per housekeeper, to ensure each room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected

  • Your room will not be serviced on a daily basis, if you would like a housekeeper to clean your bedroom during your stay then please inform the hotel reception before 10am.

  • All advertising collateral has been removed from our bedrooms

  • All display cushions and throws have been removed

 

FOOD & DRINK 

  • We are serving cooked & continental breakfast in the Terrace Restaurant

  • Breakfast dining times are Monday - Friday 7am - 9.30am and Saturday - Sunday 8am - 10am

  • We are serving evening meals in the Terrace Restaurant, a table must be booked for evening meals

  • Evening dining times are Monday - Sunday 6pm - 8.30pm  

  • We are not currently serving lunches or afternoon teas

  • All condiments are now provided in sealed sachets

  • Disposable menus used

  • Enhanced kitchen cleaning measures and social distancing in our kitchen

  • External produce delivery and social distancing is managed with best practice to ensure guest and team safety

 

LEISURE FACILITIES

  • There is no need to prebook a slot to use any of the leisure facilities. Childrens swimming times are daily from 10am - 5pm.

  • Changing rooms and showers are available 

  • We will be following Government guidance and social distancing measures
