Your comfort and safety are our priority at Oriel Hotel

 

 

We would like to reassure you that we have taken all the necessary steps to protect both you and our colleagues, so we can deliver a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.

 

Here we outline the key measures we have put in place throughout your time with us. We simply ask that you stay mindful of these important measures during your stay and if you have any specific questions, our staff will be happy to assist.

FACE COVERINGS

  • Face coverings are required whilst moving around the hotel and in public areas.

  • Face coverings will not be required in the restaurant or seated in the bar. 

  • This requirement will apply to everyone aged 11 and over

 

CHECK-IN AND OUT

  • Online check in service – check in prior to your arrival without the need to fill in a registration form

  • Key cards sanitised prior to issue

  • Contactless checkout encouraged

  • Hand sanitiser is available in all main hotel areas and enhanced public area cleaning is in place

  • Visual guides and directional signage to help you maintain social distancing

  • All employees will wear the necessary personal protective equipment at all times relevant to their task and in line with UK Hospitality guidelines

  • All employees will have their temperature checked daily before they enter the premises

 

 PUBLIC AREAS

  • It is mandatory to wear a face mask in public corridors

  • Robust and heightened cleaning procedure in place for all public areas, and you’ll find sanitising stations available in key areas throughout the hotel

  • All our colleagues are fully trained in our new key safety measures, and will wear the necessary personal protective equipment at all times relevant to their task and in line with UK Hospitality guidelines 

  • Regular deep cleaning and sanitising of public area toilets (we encourage guests to use their bedroom facilities)

  • Regular sanitising of all public areas

  • Back of house areas will have the same levels of cleaning and sanitising as our public areas

 

 

BEDROOMS

  • Hugely enhanced bedroom cleaning focusing on sanitisation with viricidal disinfectant

  • We have reduced the number of rooms per housekeeper, to ensure each room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected

  • To minimize contact, rooms will not be cleaned during the guests’ stay

  • The option to service your bedroom is available on request only 

  • All advertising collateral has been removed from our bedrooms

  • All display cushions and throws have been removed

  • All complimentary toiletries have been removed, these are available on request

  • All complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits have removed, these are available on request

 

FOOD & DRINK

  • Our restaurant is open for breakfast and evening meals (lunch not currently available)

  • Freshly cooked breakfast is available and is served in our restaurant

  • Breakfast dining times are Monday - Friday 7am - 9.30pm and Saturday - Sunday 8am - 10am

  • Restaurant tables for breakfast must be pre-booked

  • Dinner dining times are Monday - Saturday 6pm - 8.30pm (Closed on Sunday's) 

  • Restaurant tables for evening meals must be pre-booked

  • All condiments are now provided in sealed sachets

  • Cutlery and napkins are provided in sealed bags

  • Disposable menus used

  • Drinks are available and is table service only

  • No buffets in operation

  • Enhanced kitchen cleaning measures and social distancing in our kitchen

  • External produce delivery and social distancing is managed with best practice to ensure guest and team safety

 

LEISURE FACILITIES

  • The health and leisure facilities are reopening on Sunday 1st November 2020.

  • This includes the swimming pool, cardio and resistance room and the spa department.

  • We will be following Government guidance and social distancing measures, please be aware there will be lots of changes.

  • The sauna and coffee lounge will not be reopening.

  • Hotel residents and members will need to prebook to use any of the facilities in health and leisure.  Details will follow in due course on how these facilities can be reserved.

  • We will be offering limited beauty treatments.

  • Daily newspaper service

  • Assistance with luggage

  • Lunch
