Your comfort and safety are our priority at Oriel Hotel

We would like to reassure you that we have taken all the necessary steps to protect both you and our colleagues, so we can deliver a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone.

 

Here we outline the key measures we have put in place throughout your time with us. We simply ask that you stay mindful of these important measures during your stay and if you have any specific questions, our staff will be happy to assist.

FACE COVERINGS

  • Face coverings are required whilst moving around the hotel and in public areas.

  • Face coverings will not be required whilst seated in the restaurant or bar. 

  • This requirement will apply to everyone aged 11 and over

 

CHECK-IN AND OUT

  • Key cards sanitised prior to issue

  • Hand sanitiser is available in all main hotel areas and enhanced public area cleaning is in place

  • Visual guides and directional signage to help you maintain social distancing

  • All employees will wear the necessary personal protective equipment at all times relevant to their task and in line with UK Hospitality guidelines

  • All employees will have their temperature checked daily before they enter the premises

 

 PUBLIC AREAS

  • It is mandatory to wear a face mask in all public corridors

  • Robust and heightened cleaning procedure in place for all public areas, and you’ll find sanitising stations available in key areas throughout the hotel

  • All our colleagues are fully trained in our new key safety measures, and will wear the necessary personal protective equipment at all times relevant to their task and in line with UK Hospitality guidelines 

  • Regular deep cleaning and sanitising of public area toilets (we encourage guests to use their bedroom facilities)

  • Regular sanitising of all public areas

  • Back of house areas will have the same levels of cleaning and sanitising as our public areas

 

BEDROOMS

  • Hugely enhanced bedroom cleaning focusing on sanitisation with viricidal disinfectant

  • We have reduced the number of rooms per housekeeper, to ensure each room is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected

  • To minimize contact, rooms will not be cleaned during the guests’ stay

  • The option to service your bedroom is available on request only 

  • All advertising collateral has been removed from our bedrooms

  • All display cushions and throws have been removed

 

FOOD & DRINK

  • We are serving a cooked breakfast which must be preordered with reception

  • A table must be booked for breakfast

  • Breakfast dining times are Monday - Friday 7am - 9.30pm and Saturday - Sunday 8am - 10.30am

  • We are serving evening meals in our restaurant or room service if you would prefer, this is subject to availability

  • A table must be booked for evening meals

  • Evening dining times are Monday - Sunday 6pm - 8.30pm  

  • We are not currently serving lunches

  • All condiments are now provided in sealed sachets

  • Disposable menus used

  • Drinks are available and is table service only

  • No buffets in operation

  • Enhanced kitchen cleaning measures and social distancing in our kitchen

  • External produce delivery and social distancing is managed with best practice to ensure guest and team safety

 

LEISURE FACILITIES

  • All hotel guests and members must book a slot ot use the pool and gym by calling Reservations/Leisure club.  You can also download our FitSense to make your own booking.  We recommend you choose your time slot for the gym, pool and sauna when booking your hotel reservation to avoid dissappointment

  • Slots are 45 minutes (including changing time)

  • Sauna slots are 20 minutes and maximum capacity is 2 people from the same household

  • We reserve 15 minutes before and after your time slot to allow the leisure team to clean before the next guests arrive

  • Towels are not provided, we kindly ask that you bring your own  

  • Changing rooms are available but unfortunately our showers are out of use

  • We will be following Government guidance and social distancing measures
