The Oriel Hotel, North Wales

The Oriel Hotel is just a short stroll from the city of St. Asaph, located in the heart of North Wales.

The city of St Asaph lies between Denbigh and the coastal resort of Rhyl.  It is home to the smallest cathedral in Britain and is set on the banks of the River Elwy.

The Oriel Hotel is also the perfect place for that weekend getaway with its comfortable rooms, contemporary restaurant and relaxing conservatory and lounge.

Please note our restaurant is closed for evening meals on Sundays, but we do have Sunday Lunch served 12pm until 3pm.

Please be aware we do not have a lift, if you require a ground floor room please book direct to avoid disappointment.

Like many hotels we do require that guests leave personal card details on check-in, this is to protect the hotel against loss.

Dogs are very much welcome at Oriel Hotel.  We have limited pet friendly rooms available so prebooking is essential, a small surcharge is applicable. Dogs also have the run of the Conservatory, lounge and outside gardens. We provide dog bowls, mats, duvets and a little bag of dog treats.

Our Health and Leisure club offers a wide range of cardio and resistance equipment.  Complete with an

11-meter indoor heated pool and sauna, this is a great place to relax and unwind.

Ideally situated to explore the scenic North Wales countryside and nearby are a number of interesting historical sites, such Bodelwyddan, Llandudno with its Victorian promenade and the world heritage site at Conwy. Just a short drive away, experience Snowdonia national park voted the most beautiful in all of Europe.

The hotel is able to cater for large weddings and private functions to the highest of standards.  We also host several small meetings and large conferences for up to 180 guests.

Whether you are staying for business or pleasure, Oriel Hotel can offer you a comfortable and relaxing stay.  Our team look forward to welcoming you to the hotel.
